    Queer Movement + Workshop: LGBTQ+ friendly yoga class & social afterwards to connect with others.

    Theme: ‘Expression’ a celebration of happiness, resilience and authenticity.

    A space to explore how expression shows up through the body, movement, voice, and sensation. Using breath-led movement and reflective practices, we’ll explore expression as listening, and the experience of sharing space with others, held by a supportive community.

    How do we recognise when something is ready to be expressed? And what becomes possible when expression is met with care?

    This 2-hour workshop will begin with brief introductions, followed by a 60-minute yoga and meditation practice guided by the session’s theme. We’ll then take a break to share tea, cake, and conversation, before closing with guided journaling and time for reflection.

    All event proceeds will go to METRO charity! Supporting and providing services for LGBTQ+ communities in London for 40 years.

    Join David Steer to explore a space of self-awareness, connect to others and find joy within a supportive and inclusive community. This is an open space to practice and bring queerness into well-being.

    Each session explores a unique theme relevant to LGBTQ+ experiences and includes creative sessions such as journaling, group discussions and taught workshops.

    There are 3 different pricing options available for this Workshop:

    Tier 1 - £10: You are unemployed or a student. You don’t have savings or you might have people depending on you. You will notice the money leaving your bank account and paying a higher sum may mean you cut back on other things.

    Tier 2 - £15: You can pay this if you are in full-time employment or self-employed with money coming in every month. You have savings and you can afford some fun expenses every month such as restaurants, cinema and shopping)

    Tier 3 - £20: You have a comfortable amount of disposable income and do not need to pay close attention to money leaving your account. This price will allow us to bring some people in on lower tiers)
