    This is a traditional Mysore-style self-practice class. Students move through their practice at their own pace while the teacher offers individual guidance and assistance.

    Why Mysore Practice?

    Mysore practice builds discipline and steady progress through consistency and self-responsibility. Practicing at your own pace allows you to spend more time with poses you find challenging, helping you develop strength, mobility, and understanding gradually and sustainably.

    Practice Structure
    • Begin with 5 Surya Namaskar A
    • Continue with 3–5 Surya Namaskar B
    • Practice the standing sequence from Primary Series
    • From there, students may:
    • Practice Primary Series
    • Practice Second Series
    • Work on selected postures or personal focus areas
    • Move into a seated sequence and complete a finishing sequence
    • A Primary Series poster is available in the room for reference

    Teacher Support

    The teacher is present throughout the session to:
    • Help you get started if you’re new
    • Offer verbal guidance and physical assists (with consent)
    • Support your development safely and progressively

    Class Etiquette
    • Arrive before 9:00 AM
    • Always complete sun salutations and the standing sequence
    • Respect the shared space and keep noise to a minimum
    • Be mindful of your body and do not push beyond your limits
    • Ask for help when needed
    • Be supportive of others
    • Do not assist other students unless permitted by the teacher

    Tea is available after class. Feel free to stay, relax, and connect.
